Junior Summer Tennis Camps 2025
We will have instruction for all levels of play from beginner to high advanced, ages 5 through 18.
For our new players, we’ll start at the very beginning: how to hold the racket, where we should be on the court, scoring, etc., but most importantly, we’ll have fun playing games and hitting balls.
For our more experienced players, we will work on fine-tuning strokes, volleys, slices, overheads, and serves. We will also focus on strategies for singles and doubles play and prepare you for the fall tennis team season.

Location
All 2025 Summer Camps will held inside at the Central PA Tennis Center to keep campers and instructors out of the heat. Enjoy the AC!
(Central PA Tennis Center, 840 Route 15 Highway, South Williamsport, PA)
Maximum of eight campers per court on four courts. (Each camp is limited to 32 players.)
We are offering five camps with each camp running for one week Monday through Friday.
Dates & Times
Ages 11 and Under: Ages 5 to 8 years 12:00 to 12:50 PM
Ages 9 to 11 years 1:00 to 1:50 PM
Cost: $35 per week ($30 for 2 children or more) for Ages 5-11
Session 1, June 9 to June 13. Monday to Friday
Session 2, July 7 to July 11. Monday to Friday
Session 3, July 28 to August 1. Monday to Friday.
Ages 12-18 years: 1:00 to 4:00 PM or 6:00 to 8:00 PM
Cost: $65 per week ($60 for 2 children or more) for Ages 12-18.
Session 4, June 16, 18, and 20. Mon/Wed/Fri. 1:00 to 4:00 PM
Session 5, July 14, 16, and 18. Mon/Wed/Fri. 1:00 to 4:00 PM
Session 6, July 28 to August 1. Monday to Friday. 6:00 to 8:00 PM
Session 7, August 4, 6, and 8. Mon/Wed/Fri. 1:00 to 4:00 PM
Please note: This new extended format will include physical conditioning, tennis instruction, and match play.
Instructors Include: John Dorner, Dakkota Deem, Theresa Summerson, Karen Hooker, Mike Walizer, Michael LeBlanc, and Beth Schluter.
Cost
$35/person per week or $30/person per person per week if registering two or more from the same family for ages 5-11
$65/person per week or $60/person per person per week if registering two or more from the same family for ages 12-18
Students must pre-register. You have the option of registering or paying online at www.centralpatenniscenter.com. You may also choose to register and pay in person at the Tennis Center with cash, check or credit card or over the phone with a credit card.
Multi-sibling discount is not available online. Please call 570-326-2828 for the sibling discount or with any questions.
Safety Equipment
A first aid kit will be on site. No medicine will be provided or dispensed by program staff.
Equipment
Tennis balls will be provided. Students who have rackets should bring their own. We will have extra rackets for campers to borrow if they do not have a racket. Participants are to bring their own water bottle.
